This is great. We can see how fruits and vegetables are important for our good health. We will realize that since then being a child, our parents keep on saying that we must eat vegetables but some are just ignoring it, but now they are right. Doctors go to school to learn about medicine. Doctors don't have all the answers do they? Especially when it comes to fibromyangia. Wouldn't it be great for local communities to teach classes with this kind of info?

my doctor told me no potatoes,tomatoes and eggplant. makes pain worse.
every diet is diffrent for every person who is diagnosed with FM. Some diets will not work for others. Also purchased a bottle called "Fibro-Response" from vitamin store, and it seems to be helping, im not as tired as usual. It contains all the vitamins and chemicals that a person with FM lacks, and also MCM (for pain). Good Luck
Please be very careful when contemplating doing a detox for fibromyalgia. I did this and had a migraine for 11 weeks. All tests were done - mri, lumbar puncture etc, but the doctors finally put it down to the shock my body experienced when I started the detox. And I only did it for a few days, then was so ill I stopped. The migraine didn't tho. This was a full-on, dark room, no light or noise migraine. Be careful!! I was told after this to never shock a fibromyalgia body in any way.

It is right, there is no specific recommended diet for fibromyalgia. But a healthy diet rich in vitamins and minerals can certainly help in coping with the illness. Magnesium rich vegetables are recommended for patient's suffering from fibromyalgia. Cutting down on wheat and dairy products, having food rich in B12 and proteins, avoiding food with yeast and preservatives can also help.
Also I agree that fruits and veggies gives benefit for FM sufferer. Plenty of fruits and vegetables are recommended in the diet, as they are rich in magnesium.
As mentioned there no specific diet for fibromyalgia, you could try each one and decide which one suits you best as health food and as a way to nursing yourself back to health. Start it now and enjoy a healthy life.
